Kippkopp and the Hoppies are heading to Bristol! Two Hungarian animated shorts, including the winner of the Cinemira Children’s Jury Award will be screened at the UK’s leading short film festival.

Encounters takes place in Bristol on 25-30 September 2018, where a diverse selection of international short films and animations are screened. This year the Perpetual Cinema section includes two animated shorts that had their premiere at Hungary’s Cinemira International Children’s Film Festival.

The family friendly, free-entry Perpetual Cinema event takes place at Bristol’s Millenium Square. Here, the audiences will be treated to a family-oriented selection of european shorts, including  Kippkopp in the grass (directed by Szilvia Fabók and Tama Mikori), a short story based on the children’s book by Veronika Marek. The Cinemira Children’s Jury Award-winning short is concerns the adventures of a friendly chesnut child in the nature.

A brand new episode of the popular Hungarian cartoon series, Hoppi Tales will be also screened at the venue. The series (directed by Academy Award winner Ferenc Rofusz) presents the tales of the Hoppies, a race of friendly elves who tend to the holidays of all nations.

The screenings of Perpetual Cinema will take place during Encounters (25-30 September 2018), from 9am to midnight, at Millenium Square, Bristol, England.
