I. PROGRAMME SECTIONS

a. International Competition of Short Animated Films for Children (separately for 3-6,7-9, 10-14 years old)

b.International Competition of Short Live actions Films for Children(separately for 7-9, 10-14 years old)

c.International Competition of Short Documentary Films for Children and (separately 7-9, 10-14 years old)

f. International Competition of Student Films, films made by children and youth (10-14, 14-18, 19-30)

II. CONDITIONS FOR SUBMITTERS

Date: Only works with a release date after January 1, 2015 will be allowed to participate in the competitive sections.

Length: Short films of up to a maximum of 20 minutes in length can participate in the animated film competitions.

Submission: In order to have a film screened at the Festival it is necessary to fill in the application form at https://filmfreeway.com/festival/Cinemira.

with English subtitles by no later than 22 January, 2018. The organizer will inform the applicants of their acceptance in writing by no later than February 19, 2018.

III. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Short films and student films included in competition are accepted only in the formats Quicktime H.264 HD that can be uploaded at the online application.

IV. LANGUAGE VERSIONS

Competing films must be provided with English subtitles by the applicant. Competing films for children, animated films and non-competing films for children of up to 10 years of age are screened in their original version with simultaneous interpreting into Hungarian language provided by the organizer. Other competing films are screened in their original version with English subtitles and at the same time with Hungarian subtitles provided by the organizer.

V. SENDING INSTRUCTIONS

Copies of invited films must be sent to the organizer’s by 1th of March, 2018 trough file senders to the following email address:
